danube for e-commerce is the product we built for Geizhals, Austria's biggest platform for finding a product's best price. It ranks millions of offers against what a shopper actually cares about — price, delivery, ratings, specifications — instead of a single hard-coded sort order. Every result is explainable, and the ranking adapts as the shopper adjusts their priorities.
A plugin on the product page
We built a product comparison plugin that Geizhals integrated directly into their product pages. Browsing a product surfaces alternatives with similar or better price/value, side by side with the item you are looking at.
No user data required
Recommendations are personalised to the visitor's preferences without collecting, storing or profiling any personal data — the model infers why someone is browsing a product from the session itself.
Compare and boost features
Right on the product page shoppers can compare features across alternatives and add an extra boost to the attributes that matter most to them — the comparison re-ranks instantly.
