Why we built Genetic AI
danube.ai is a Vienna-based deep-tech company. We think the ranking that decides what people see should be inspectable by the people it affects — and buildable without harvesting years of behavioural data first.
What we stand for
Ranking is not a neutral utility. It decides which supplier gets the order and which candidate gets the interview. We build systems where that decision is a stated set of criteria, not an inference from a dataset nobody can audit.
That principle shapes the engineering: data frugality over data hoarding, evolutionary search over opaque training, and an explanation attached to every result rather than reconstructed afterwards.
